The City of Beaumont, Texas operates its programs and services to include the public transit system known as BMT Zip without regard to race, color, and/or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
The City of Beaumont/BMT Zip is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its transit services on the basis of race, color, or national origin, as protected by Title VI in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Circular 4702.1B Any person who believes that he or she has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the City of Beaumont and BMT Zip.
